Switching Between Organizations

How to Switch#

1. Look for the organization name in the sidebar (below the RenderStack logo)
2. Click the organization name to open the organization switcher
3. Select the organization you want to switch to
4. The page will reload with the selected organization data

What Changes When You Switch#

When you switch organizations, all data displayed throughout the platform updates to reflect the selected organization:

• Templates — You see only the templates belonging to the active organization
• Renders — Render history shows only renders from the active organization
• Assets — Uploaded files are scoped to the active organization
• API Keys — Only keys for the active organization are shown
• Settings — Organization settings, billing, and member lists update accordingly
• Usage — Plan limits and current usage reflect the active organization

Your Role May Differ#

Your permissions depend on your role within each organization. For example, you might be an Owner in one organization and a Viewer in another. The actions available to you will change accordingly when you switch. See Roles and Permissions for details on what each role can do.

Joining Additional Organizations#

You can be invited to join other organizations by their Owner or Admin. When you accept an invitation, the new organization will appear in your organization switcher.
